The Starlight Theatre presents the romantic musical comedy “I LOVE
YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE”
Whether you’ve been lucky in love, or find yourself in a romantic drought,
“I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE” is the perfect antidote
to the woes of the “dating game.” This smart, toe-tapping musical revue
about love and marriage boasts a fantastic cast of four, playing over 40
characters, as they trace the evolution of male-female relationships from
the joys of their single days through the craziness of dating and the
experience of married life.
The play is a celebration of the mating game and takes on the truth and
the myths of "the relationship". The songs in Act I explore the journey from
dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies
and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up
techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious off-Broadway revue pays
tribute to everyone who has ever loved, or at least had the courage to
ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"
