February 25 to March 6, 2011

A must see for every parent, every teenager, EVERYONE!
Based on Dr. Mary Pipher’s Reviving Ophelia: Saving the
Selves of Adolescent Girls, one of the seminal nonfiction
books of our time, this is the gripping story of four teenage
girls battling the corrosive influences of popular culture and
each searching for the personal North Star that will guide her
home.  Playwright Bennett, specifically chosen by Dr. Pipher
to adapt her work, deftly leavens the drama with humor,
tracing the intertwining lives of these four girls from first
grade through middle school, and then through high school to
graduation and young adulthood.
Much Ado About Nothing

One of Shakespeare's most delightful comedies! the
plot revolves around two sets of lovers and follows the
obstacles to their finding true love. While Benedick and
Beatrice are engaged in a "merry war" of wit -- both
talk a mile a minute and proclaim their scorn for love,
marriage, and each other -- Claudio and Hero, in
contrast, are sweet young people who are rendered
practically speechless by their love for one another.

Laughing Wild
April 8 to 17, 2011

A zany Comedy featuring the talents of Danielle Paccione Colombo
and Richard PaytonLaughing Wild is a wickedly funny and fiercely
ironic play by Christopher Durang, During Durang’s 30-year career,
New York critical acclaim has pointed out that “his lampoons are not
vicious or hostile; they are controlled comedies...At its best, [his
work] spills into a compassionate criticism of life.” Laughing Wild is
an exploration of a man’s and a woman’s shared nightmare of
modern life and the isolation it creates. This is typical of the urban
anxiety themes in Durang’s numerous award-winning theatre and
screen plays. Amid his parodies of drama, literature, movies,
families, show business and society, “Durang leaves the audience
laughing wildly and thoughtfully.” (WARNING: Some strong language)
